7 Days to go!

In 7 days my outdoor season will officially start for 2017. To say I’m not nervous would be lying. When you have such high expatiations of yourself its hard not to get a little nervous, especially when this will be my first decathlon in 6 years.

Since finding out about the issues with my shins/calves training hasn’t been great and neither has my diet. But this is something that all athletes go through and it’s a tough dealing with certain little injuries. I suppose when you starve yourself of certain foods when there comes a point of being able to have them you just go all in, well I do anyway.

Overnight Oats

This is just a quick post so won’t take too long to read. I wanted something that would help my calorie intake and which was simply to make and could be eaten anytime. There are many recipes for overnight oats this is my twist.

Gym Training

Currently my programme is strength, power, strength as we are now getting into competition season. I have three sessions with six different exercises in each. Here are some of the exercises and why I do them.
